Hi! I'm Christina.
Most About pages begin with a list of labels:
Wife. Mother. Author. Energy Healer. Coach.
Those things are all part of my life, but they don’t really tell you what has shaped the work I do today.
For more than twenty-five years, I have been exploring what helps us reconnect with the wisdom, guidance, and peace that already exists within us.
I’ve never been particularly interested in collecting spiritual beliefs or finding the perfect spiritual path.
What has always fascinated me is understanding what gets in the way of our connection to Source and how we can gently clear those obstacles so that life begins to flow a little more easily.
Again and again, I’ve found that the connection itself is rarely the problem.
The problem is the clutter. The stress. The old stories. The fear. The expectations. The emotional baggage we carry. The ways we learn to abandon ourselves in order to fit in, stay safe, or keep everyone else happy.
My own life has been a continual process of clearing away those layers and learning to trust the guidance that remains.
A university professor once encouraged me to stop searching for a spiritual label and instead embrace the path of the mystic.
Looking back, that conversation changed everything.
Rather than trying to fit myself into a particular tradition, I focused on developing my own relationship with Spirit and learning how to listen.
More importantly, I learned how to trust what I heard.
That trust has led me through some remarkable experiences.
In 2001, following a persistent inner nudge, I left Canada and travelled to the UK despite having no clear way to fund the journey. Once I committed to the decision, the resources appeared through a television project I had been developing called “Spirit in My Suitcase.”
A short time later, after a lonely and difficult start to the trip, in a dark night in a YMCA in Cornwall where I told Spirit I had given up on ever finding a soulmate, another nudge led me to Glastonbury. I walked through the door of a seminar I felt called to and Jeff sat beside me. We locked eyes. The world around us simply fell away.
Within three weeks we were engaged. He moved to Canada six weeks later.
Since then we have built a life together across three countries while raising three children and navigating all the twists and turns that come with being human. We’ve experienced homelessness, bankruptcy, business ownership, health challenges, homeschooling, and plenty of moments when life looked nothing like we had planned.
We’ve sung together as musical therapists, opened a vegetarian restaurant (in a town of mostly meat-eaters!) followed our curiosity into all sorts of adventures, and created a life rooted in the values that matter most to us.
Today our daughters are in their twenties and our son is almost an adult.
Looking back across those years, I can see that every challenge brought the same invitation: to clear away fear, reconnect with myself, and trust something deeper than my circumstances.
That understanding became the foundation of my work.
My first book, Who They Really Are, grew from my experiences with spiritual pregnancy and parenting.
For many years I supported mothers who were trying to stay connected to themselves while caring for everyone around them.
As my own children grew up, I began to see that the questions women ask in midlife are often the same ones they ask in early motherhood….
Who am I beneath all the roles I play?
What do I truly need?
How do I hear my own voice again?
How do I trust myself?
Over the years I have trained in kinesiology, energy healing, nervous system regulation, and a variety of holistic approaches that support emotional, energetic, physical, and spiritual wellbeing.
I am also a mindfulness teacher, the author of four books, host of the Showing Up Whole podcast, and founder of the Whole Woman Circle.
But the heart of my work has remained remarkably simple.
Helping women clear the clutter that keeps them disconnected from themselves.
Through energy healing, nervous system support, practical spiritual tools, emotional clearing, and intuitive coaching, I help women reconnect with the wisdom that has been there all along.
These days you can find me walking the Somerset countryside, gathering herbs from the hedgerows, writing, recording podcasts, supporting clients, or spending time with Jeff, my partner of over 25 years.
You’re just as likely to find us navigating a Costco run or visiting my daughter in London and catching a show.
Like everyone else, I’m still learning. Still growing. Still clearing away whatever gets in the way of living from a place of trust and connection.
It’s a lifelong practice.
It’s a daily choice.
One that I’m honoured to support the women I work with every day.
At times, I’ve felt alone on my journey.
I’ve hesitated on listening to that inner calling more than once.
Having someone in your corner makes all the difference.
Having someone who has tools to make the clearing easier, changes everything.
